Rika Wright Carlsen, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering at Robert Morris University and Director of Center for Innovation and Outreach (Academic Affairs). She is the Co-Principal Investigator of the Injury Biomechanics Lab at Robert Morris University. Her expertise is in injury biomechanics (focus on traumatic brain injury), cell and soft tissue mechanics, finite element modeling, and biohybrid systems.
